Donation to China Sichuan Earthquake 2008
Tsinghua Alumni Association In Greater Chicago Area has organized a donation to help our homeland to recover from the huge earthquake in Sichuan in 2008. Here is the Donator List.
As the Nov. 14th, 2008, the total amount donation received is $13,225.95. The first round of $5000 donation was wired to Red Cross Society of China(RCSC) on May 28th, 2008. The last one was donated in person by vice president, Hua Guan, to the headquarter of RCSC. Click here to see details. We would like to thank you all for supporting us on this event!

| Tsinghua Alumni Association in Greater Chicago Area was approved as IRS 501(c)3! |
After going through more than one year's preparation and application process, our association, Tsinghua Alumni Association in Greater Chicago Area was finally approved by IRS as 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. Going forward, this will bring more convenience to our association' s activities and many tax benefit to our association and members in our association. This is a great milestone achievement and please do not hesitate to share this with all of our alumni or friends.
